New Zealand Beekeeping #3

The spring is coming to an end in NZ and the long summer days are around the corner. In many backyards can be found the old reliable lemon tree. If you are lucky enough to live in the North Island you may even have a Grapefruit and Tangerine tree to spice up the gin and tonics at cocktail hour. Bees love these flowers and of course with good pollination comes a great harvest. If this truck load of honey supers just taken off the hives is any indication of the harvest to come, then it should be a good year for the extracting machine.
