Beekeepers in Eastern Ontario – Summer Field Day, 2015

Eastern Ontario and Lanark County Beekeepers Association will once again host a field day at Paul Lacelle’s home on August 23rd. Last year was a great success and well attended. I am sure this year will be just as much fun. Its a very hands-on affair full of practical information with time to share amongst fellow beekeepers. The day starts at 9.30am with registration followed by a presentation by Paul Kozacs, Provincial Apiarist. The rest of the day is taken up with workshops until 3.00pm and finishes with door prizes, 50\50 and clean up. Because eating is important, this is a pot luck event so please bring a favourite dish to be shared. A chair, utensils, plate etc along with the usual beekeeping suit and gloves have to be brought by those attending.

Directions to Paul Lacelle’s place:

Take highway 417 West from Ottawa, exit 145 highway 7 toward Carleton Place/ Toronto, continue past Carleton Place and turn right onto Concession Road 5A, left on Spruce Drive and its #126, on the right.

Hope you will be able to make it.
